Very little snow at my house...just a few miles away at Jennifer's house...it is a totally different story. Amazing how much difference a couple of miles makes.

I'm further west...the storm tracked just a bit east of here.

Hmm, that got me thinking. If with half the MP (approx) on my 5D classic, I can print something that is 15 feet x 10 feet, that would already be impossible to hang indoors in a normal-sized house. Unless you are thinking of replacing wall paint with wallpaper. And even then it would have to be landscape format (15 across) as most ceilings aren't 5 meters tall.

Yeah - but remember that billboards are generally viewed from distances greater than 150% of their largest dimension. If you put a print at that resolution up in a room, you're going to be a lot closer than that most of the time, and 24 pixels/inch (2912 pixels/120") is going to look more like an abstraction than a real photo up close.

Hi Greg. Hows life down under today? Have a good weekend?

Yes pretty good and productive weekend. Been a bit hot here this weekend with temps in the 90's, not what you'd call Autumn weather but seeing how last week was still Summer I might take that as an excuse. Looking forward to the cooler weather in winter, but not the lack of macro stuff in the garden.

What about yourself?

Mooooo, all.

I think I need a vacation. Littlest guy was home Friday with a low grade fever. Nothing serious, but enough to wipe him out. We had a very low key day. Everyone seemed healthier again for the weekend, but Ayden woke up with a cough that he just can't seem to beat. If he goes more than two minutes without a coughing spell, I wonder whether he's dozed off. Oh well, I only had a million other things to try to do this week. . .

Thanks Dan for that intro. I was trying to find someway for coming back in to the fold and this seems to be a good way of doing it.

Welcome back! You know you never need an excuse to join in here. Plus, lately we've have lots more opportunities for folks to join in.

A little phototax from the garden today.

Your garden is a whole lot more interesting than mine. I did see a few more crocus peeking out of the dirt today, though. There's still hope. :D

**More cool macros**

Your walks are a lot more interesting, too. I'm going to have to go on a macro minded walk and see what turns up. I don't usually think that way, but I think it could be a fun exercise.

Slow day art.

Nice art, Wool.

Off to finish up lunch for littlest and try to get him some rest.
