there's a loco and a half there! :)

on a side note... why are people so stubborn in today's world? i have two people in this organisation who have the 'i'm just an analyst' mentality... even though they used to be developers... then refuse to talk to each other due to 'personal clashes' and ffs (excuse that) :| when the company is at stake and unable to continue working... why don't they just talk to each other...

Some people are just that way. It usually bites them in the end, but they will occasionally take good people down with them. In this economy, people really will have to learn to leave pride out of the equation, and do what's most expeditious to reach a satisfactory result.

Failing to move forward is a luxury we can no longer afford.

A place I used to work had two managers who regularly clashed about anything and everything they could. It really did little purpose other than serving to polarize the employees of each. Each was very arrogant, and absolutely certain that theirs was the only solution. Of course, their work was completely dependent on the other, and neither could get their way.

A significant amount of time and effort was wasted there.

Yeah I figured that too... and they are both proud people. Just frustrating when it effects people around them.

Now I've got a headache! ::evil::evil:

Anyways.... How's everyone else going today? :)

that sounds sooooo familiar :(

then I come across as a 'psycho' cos I had a go at their child like behaviour and told them to take their heads out of their asses and start acting like adults...

everyone was like  because I'm usually the calm quiet one (kinda) :)

I was always the calm, quiet one, too. I would write scathing status reports to blow off steam, but I'd word things in such a way that most of the time people didn't realize how what I'd written would affect them until days or even weeks later.

More than once the two managers' boss would cross reference what I'd written with what they'd reported, and it usually resulted in the two of them being scolded for being less than forthcoming with the truth. ;)

Well, I had an amazing photo opportunity today, and I had the wrong lens on the camera.

https://photography-on-the.net …php?p=7448608#post7448608

I had the 5Dm2 with the 28-135 on it. I really could have used a lot more lens. 300 mm would have probably been just about right, but that was sitting in the closet at home.

Silly me. I didn't think I'd be taking any photos today.

wow, I like it as is.

Very nice Chief. My wife and I flew into Ontario on Feb 10 and back to Oregon on Feb 11th. People met us at the airport and drove us to Redlands. I saw them, but going down the freeway at 65 mph I wasn't able to get a shot. It was amazing seeing them all hooked up like that. It seemed like we drove forever before getting to the end of the line. I'm glad to see you got a photo of them.
