If you don't mind a heavy setup (I think it will be similar or slightly heavier than the 1-4 with the M3) go for it. It's a nice lens. Fast focusing. Sharp in the center, slightly softer at the corners than the F4. Nothing to worry about and since most people don't do landscapes with that lens, it's really never an issue. .. The simplicity of color almost had me thinkingit was a model, but after closer examination, I see it is not. I look like some sort of radial blur or something. Very neat. it was a lensbaby shot...he may have adjusted colors but that's the sooc camera look of a lensbaby shot well. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

More info | May 04, 2009 14:14 | #6973 Harm...I had a Hoya CPL do the same thing. They have a little retaining ring that doesn't always seat well. Mine popped off, but fortunately, right into my hand and I was able to reassemble it...haven't had a problem since. That said...I am not overly impressed with the design....especially for what they charge for one. People that know me call me Dan
