Before I came to this forum, I thought I knew quite a bit about photography.
That was until I started reading the posts...
I have learned more here than I have anywhere. In books, online turtorials...even the classes I've taken at school.
And I've only been a member for a month.

Thanks for showing how ignorant I was.:)

In all honesty, I am very glad I found this place. The knowledge of everyone just blows me away, and I have become a better photographer in the short month I've spent here so far.

I would definitely agree. It is by far the best forum I have come across with such a diverse membership.
You must be pretty much living on it if you have almost 200 posts in less than two months

That takes some of us just a couple of days to get.... if not less...... ***ahem*** I wont mention any names, Permie! :D

But this forum is great. I have learned quite a bit over the years I have been here as well. It's a great resource.

I'm glad you think we're horrible for that reason :)

Its great to help people out in here and I've made and met more friends on here than I have for a long time. A truly great place.

I agree, hopefully I'm a little less ignorant today than I was yesterday..and the day before;)

I know i spend a lot of time on here reading when I should be working:D

Haha, yeah its pretty ridiculous how much I have learned.

I am checking this forum multiple times a day, and havent even explored much more than 3-4 sections so far (mainly staying in the EOS part of the forum).

If its only been a month and I've already learned so much...we'll just have to see how smart I think I am after a year goes by.;)

Yes, the depth of knowledge here is incredible. To a newbie like myself it's an Aladdin's Cave! When I want an answer to a problem I'm having with my photography, searching here almost alwyas gives me the answer. The only thing it's been unable to do so far is a talent transfer!!

Some of the work people post here, or have in their galleries, is SO, SO inspirational.
