All these are really nice Dennis, but I love seeing Red Tails on the ground. They look as at home there as in the air. :)

All very nice Dennis with the Eagle(s) , Grebe and Coot images being my favourites and I have nothing on these 3 species as well.

Beautiful series---when I was there we had a horrible overcast but the birds were abundant----well done here!!

Thanks Mitch! The RT took a few leaps and short flights but none of those shots came out as well as I would have liked. I did think this bird was quite well groomed though!

Thanks so much Gary! I was quite happy with the Coot although I know the beak is a little hot. It's sure tough to get the head and the beak both right at the same time! The eagles were quite the posers that day, too.

Hey Jim, thanks for the nice comments! Yes, it seems it is overcast about 90% of the time (in other than the summer season) so the blue-water/sky days are few and far between!
