Just checking...I went to one today to look at laptops, and I was not too impressed. Most electronics, including camera bodies, were only 10% off...not even worth my time to look almost. However, all lenses that I saw were 30% off...They had a couple of IS lenses for pretty decent prices. I think the most expensive one I saw (I only looked at canons)was a Canon 70-300mm IS..it was marked down from around $650 to somewhere around $449 or so. Still a little out of my price range right now, but hopefully towards the end of the liquidation in march prices will drop more and hopefully there will be some lenses at some killer prices, since usually not to many photographers shop at circuit city...all the ipods were sold out though.

Why is this in the lens archive?

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Their website is down and I cant check their prices online. With their inflated prices they would need atleast 70% off before they get my interest

Just came back from a local store. The sign specifically states the liquidation discount is based on the store's SKU regular price. Price matching policy is no longer an effective policy.

If you're talking about other stores matching Circuit City, I highly doubt it.

Back to CC's sale. Their discount for video games is 10%. I wanted the Guitar Hero bundle but still was more expensive than CostCo. LOL

i just came back from circuit city. lots of 40D and 50D kits. some lenses but no 100 macro. 50D w 28-145 kit is around $1500 after 10% discount and 40D kit is around $1200 after 10% discount. Not a discount if you ask me. I wonder how long it'll take them to drop the prices to move inventory.
