Yes. Of course every grandparent thinks their grandkids are amazing but one thing my grandkids are gifted with is a sense of humor and quick wit. They keep us laughing all the time. Another baby is on its way; our daughter who married last year is having her first baby in November. :) They want a boy first so we are rooting for another boy but we don't care what it is.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Congratulations. Getting older is fun in some aspects.

Ellie had major corrective surgery yesterday (and today). I'm guessing 17 hours in the OR. Once inside, surgeons found extra organs that had to be dealt with, but everything they had planned was accomplished. The procedure was to relocate her stoma and give her urinary continence.

All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.

Hope she has a speedy & successful recovery. Poor little Sweetheart; life has been pretty bumpy for her so far......

We spend a lot of our summer time in the pool or at the water park (free).

Thanks. Latest is she's in the PICU on a vent (precautionary). The plan is to extubate her tomorrow and leave the PICU on Monday. So far she is doing well. Turned out it was 20 hours in the OR by the time they inserted a central line.

Nurse Grandma, Aunt Nikki, and the grandparents-in-law were at the hospital. I wasn't there as I was tending their dogs. Will visit her tomorrow.

Aaron will be 10 on the 29th of this month:) Typical boys but I love this age. Independent enough but Aaron still likes hugs, kisses and still thinks I am funny. :)

WOW! he looks so much older! But then again - Holden is tiny for his age so it misconstrues my perceptions. and I totally agree :) boys this age are a blast.
