Maureen,

Your photo looks nothing like dark and dreary. You did an excellent job of creating the perfect light you needed! Ella looks bright and very cheery and very happy!

Excellent job!! :-)

Rainy day here so the two middle grandkids got on iPads to play. They had no idea I was ready to snap their picture. Nick is 6 & Tristan is 3.

Two firsts for me here: My first grandchild, Philip Gabriel "Gabe" Kresge, and my first time photographing babies/children.

I've got to tell you, I'll stick to nature and wildlife. I think Grizzly Bears and Eagles are easier.:-P

Everyone thinks babies are just quiet little blobs that you can do with as you please. HA! I always schedule 2-3 hours for a baby shoot due to crying, eating, pooping & positioning. One of these shots took 1 hour. One took about 5 minutes.

Too many doting relatives. She has two weeks to go with her left leg in a splint (growth plate fracture).

Don't come on here enough. It is such a joy to catch up and see all of the long time posters and the newer ones. The children are simply beautiful and a joy to see.
