I have to agree w/ her. The pose looks rather awkward & unflattering.

Yeah, pose isn't great. I think if you cropped it into more of a headshot it would look a lot better.

Kidding (sorta)...anyway, I agree with the others about cropping this into a headshot.

Also, you should try to avoid cropping off hands (her right hand in this case), or wrists, as this tends to look awkward, like an amputation. It's easy to miss sometimes, but it's another detail to think about when doing your in-camera cropping.

Maybe blur out the background a little to make her stand out more...just an idea.

Nice clean shot tho...nice lighting; looks very natural.
