Whats your experience with these guys? I've ordered a 50D, 430EX, and 70-200 f/2.8L through them, and don't have a single complaint.

In the UK you can go to court with that printed ad and ask the court to order them to sell it to you for that price. I'm serions.

Err no you can't.

In the T&C's on Calumet's website (and others) you'll find the term "Errors and Omissions excluded". Simply put, it covers them for typographical errors etc and this is almost certainly an example of that.

An advert / website with a price does not constitute a contract and on that point, i am serious.

They are in fact a well established Dealer who have clearly made a simple mistake.

I suspect the decimal point might be misplaced. That's $1353.09 US Dollars, and the current US Dollars price for the 800mm monster from Amazon.com is $10,750.00, which would be 7,800.50 GBP.

But if you get it for that price, can I borrow it, just once..?

Interesting, the Canon EF 800mm F/5.6L IS has disappeared from their US website, where it was listed for $7999.99 but is still on the UK website for the 918.85 Pound price. And on their other sites it's listing for for over 11,000 Euros.

If they actually ship one to anybody, let us know. But I suspect your going to get either an e-mail or phone call on Monday telling you that your S.O.L. But maybe a miracle has happened and it's a Crazy Sale to the first 100 people who are crazy enough to click BUY. Who knows, you may just get lucky, just before the meteor hits you ;-)a

Just ordered one. Probably won't come to anything. Sometimes what these companies do to say "Sorry for our error, have a £50 promotional voucher, or something like that"

'Good Morning

Unfortunately due to a computer error the price of the items you have ordered is incorrect and we have had to cancel your order.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience

i was under the impression that if a deposit or full payment is taken then that constitutes a legal contract

I suspected that would happen as soon as someone came in and found people ordering 10 of them at a time ;-)a
