A trial version of PSP (Dell/Jasc PSP Pro 7.05) came with my computer. The trial has expired and I'd like to upgrade, but when I follow the upgrade links, the upgrade path seems to be to PSP Pro Studio 8 (I know PSP is up to v9 by now).

All I can find at the Corel site are summaries of the key features, no feature comparison. Is 'Studio' a dumbed-down version of Pro? If anyone has experience with either one, I'd sure appreciate your insights.

Hmm...I think that Studio might be a 'dumbed-down' version of PSP. I seem to recall a feature list back when JASC was around, and that PSP had all the features of Studio + more.

I was able to find this page http://www.corel.com …3911920&cid=1047023969489 (external link) but I don't know if this will cover your concerns.

Thanks, John. That's my impression, too, but I haven't seen a feature-by-feature comparison to confirm it. I guess a call to Corel is in order.
