What white umbrella and umbrella holder??

I'm looking for a pair of umbrellas and holders. I want to get a white shoot-thru umbrella, 40"-45". I checked adorama, they have few for sale. Has anyone bought one form them? Which is good?

I ordered two Photogenic umbrellas from bhphotovideo, part number PHUE45W. the sales person gave them high praise for the fact the spokes are also covered by white material to keep the silver reflective spokes from casting an unwanted reflection back on your subject. I'm still awaiting them to make it to me in Korea but i'm sure they will be great.

as for the holders, high praises to Manfrotto all metal adaptor part number BO026 from bhphotovideo as well. costs more than the plastic ones, but you get what you pay for. great product.

Upon much research on this forum, I concluded that (for myself, of course) these were two of the most mentioned for being effective and economical:

Impact Heavy Duty Light Stand, and

Westcott 43" White Satin Umbrella, Collapsible with Black Cover for both shoot-through and reflective.

I got both of these from BH Photo, but shop around at places like Adorama and so on.
