Perhaps a lil too centered, and far away?

Nice capture nonetheless!!!

Agree with tony, but cropping down that size is annoying for printing with :(

Your point is a little hard to follow. You should not end a sentence with a preposition unless it is a question. Why is this crop bad to print with?

He's probably referring to the resolution of a crop that small. Depends on the camera though, right? An image from a 5D2 could be very usable at that crop. When I was shooting with my Rebel XT, cropping that tight would restrict me to 4X6 and 5X7 prints.

The crop's main purpose is to show how to frame in future. Still not great - had to leave the flower too close to the center vertically in order to get a couple lit leaf details I liked at the bottom. - Tony

PGsmyth: I agree with you about not being certain or going back and forth. I like the original but I think about all of the "rules" of photoagraphy, and say "what would I change?" Then, I don't like any of the crops I tried and say the original is better. Sometimes, there are images that look good even though you didn't fallow the "rules". I think this is one of the images that are nice they way they are. My vote is for the original. Ultimately, your opinion is the only one that matters.
