Interesting Doorways

A couple of doorways taken in Griffintown (Montreal).

Second one is kinda cool, the colors stand out. The first does nothing for me.

I'm documenting as much of the area as I can and I guess this just shows the different styles that exist in the area.
Personally I like the second one as it gets you thinks of what was the purpose of the door specifically the wooden part over the door.

I was going to suggest cropping the 2nd pic so you don't have the shadow showing up, but as you like the wooden part, I'd suggest shooting it again. The color also looks to be off a bit on the 2nd one (looking at the snow).
