Here's some shots from my visit there for New Years. It was extremely crowded, so it took a long time to get around, and a bit of patience to grab a few pics. This was my first time getting to use my new flash (430ex ii). I pretty much stuck to my 24-105 the entire time.

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Roma! My city! Did you have a good time?
Well, do you think that was a difficult city to take pictures of? The reason I'm asking you this is that everything's looks banal, to me.
But maybe this is only because I know it too well!
Btw, nice shots! Especially the second

Thanks for the comments.

St1ll, I felt very restricted trying to take any pics. It was extremely crowded, and my girlfriends knees were killing her. So first it was difficult to get any sort of clear shots, and it was harder to make use of the time with so many people to have to walk by. I wouldn't mind going back, but I'd like to spend more time in Venice more.
