Quick story behind this one:
When I was 16, a friend and I cut class and took a subway ride to NYC to visit McSorley's Ale House. At the time the drinking age was 18 and I looked about 14! I doubted that they would serve me, but lo and behold we arrived on that rainy november day in 1977? and were offered food and beverage! We had some of their famous ale as well as a house specialty of the time - a cheese and cracker board. There was good sharp cheddar, mustard, crackers and onions - aall for about $2.50 as I remember! Anyway, couldn't get the McSorley's today - but assembled a similar repass - ah memories!

More food posts...great.

Nicely done, jo. Is that a paper towel background? Awesome, looks like old textured wallpaper.
