Well comments are always welcome, this is my first time using this camera (XSI) and the 2.8 L lens. I am still not familiar with settings so i was kind of playing around with it. These were taken at night with out flash. Let me know what you think.

So you know you will get much better feedback if you post the pictures rather than link them.

I took some time to look at your photos and it seems that the lighting was very bad there. All the shots were very dark. Which lens were you using? I would suggest getting closer to the action and using a hotshoe flash. I would also recommend moving so that you were in front of the action, rather than taking pictures from behind. This would make the shots more interesting I think. Keep practicing, those are difficult conditions to shoot in and sports move very fast!

Riggs, ya i wasnt expecting them to be great hehe. I still dont know everything about ISO and AV and such. I am keeping my eye on this flash at circuit city(since they are closing). Plus what was sorry is my friends who play didnt know that it cost money to get in. So i didnt bring any cash with me. I had to shoot the game from the fence line in the endzone.

Conditions were : 7pm to 930 pm outside football field, I was using my 2.8L 70-200 lens with no flash, Just messing out for the first time in manual mode with different ISO and AV Settings trying to find a matching combo.

I knew going in things probably were not going to be fantastic. But I think i did alright for my conditions above. I will post some of the pics here so others dont all have to goto my photobucket.
