ebay trigger+ nikon flash

will a nikon sb-400 (external link) work with an ebay trigger (external link) if its fired by a 40d

40d+ebaytrigger+nikon sb-400=  ???


400d,40d,18-55,75-300,10-20,17-85IS,430ex,55-200,50 1.8,sigma 8mm fisheye

I don't know for sure if this flash has a manual setting. If it does, it should work with the e-bay trigger.

If the eBay trigger does fire the SB-400, then flash will probably fire at full power since the SB-400 has no manual capability unless you are using it with the Nikon D40 camera. Without the ability to control the output of the flash, its usefulness may be severely limited.

Why not ask the ones that sell the triggers. Gadget Infinity for instance has lists of which flash fits which version of the Cactus triggers.
