Anyone else think the look of a lens hood is sexy?

Well I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the accessories forum, but since I figured it's a bit off-topic, I'd stick it here.

Alright, this will sound extremely strange, but on top of the benefits a lens hood provides, does anyone else simply enjoy looking at a camera with a lens with a lens hood? I find it incredibly pleasing to look at a camera with a lens hood. I don't know if there is such a thing as a camera fetish, but if there is, I guess this would be it.

I know the camera is just a tool for photography and the item we should all be in awe of are the pictures it produces, but after installing a lens hood on my lens, I find that I'm looking at my camera equipment more than my pictures.

Time to visit the psychiatrist.

Yes, almost all lenses look better with hood attached. Some of the small prime hoods look kinda cheesy though.

Well, I do think lenses look good with their hoods on. And the hoods offer significant protection.

But sexy?!! Well, I'm not personally into photographic equipment in that way. But hey! Who am I to judge your lifestyle?

Of course, a ménage à trois with a Canon and a Nikon is just plain wrong!

Wait, people buy lenses for reasons other than how good it looks with a hood ?????

Seems more people on this site are interested in their gear more than they are about photography.
