I think if you can get used to NOT using a monopod it is a bonus (most of the time) especially for pan shots with a 70-200 or similar. It frees you up a lot . Definately no to the tripod as Geoff says. You do see it at meetings though. They seem to have the thing pointed to the same spot all day !! I wonder how boring it is reviewing your days shooting when you get home ?

That's a fact! lots of pictures of the same stinkin cars from 3 or 4 spots. ugh.

From your first set, the Exige and the last one of the DB9(?) are awesome.
