I've been getting several phone calls about shooting weddings locally in the past few weeks.
I was wondering if anyone knew a good way or service to setup an online system of purchasing pictures. Also, who do you recommend for wedding albums?
I was wanting to use a system that allowed the customer to go to my website and view and purchase their pictures and albums directly from my site and have the pictures printed and shipped to the customer.

Any help ya got would be much appreciated.

Thank You All
Justin

There are a lot of options out there. I opted for Zenfolio and am very happy with them. I know it's shameless, and hopefully not against the rules of the board, but if you use my referral code, we both save $5. X9Z-9PQ-Q2Y

Zenfolio is a great option now that they teamed with MPIX (the consumer division of Millers).

I haven't seen many systems that work well for selling albums though...

Regardless, online proofing is at best a nice supplemental means of selling. Figure out a way to do in person proofing (and selling), and you'll have much better luck.

Their partnership with Mpix is what actually sold me on Zenfolio; I'm able to do all my selling and production right through one site. Mpix also has one assembled album option, though you have to purchase that directly. Pretty basic, but I'm selling to the $1,000 - $1,500 market and it's priced right for my clients.
