Guys,

A friend of my brother had me look at this image to try and suggest a technical theory for the apparent ghost in this image.

Look between the legs.

There was no other kids in the house other than the crying girl.

What do you make of this???

You stated "Ghost" i.e. singular.

If you look closely at the left leg of the girl wearing the white slacks, you should be able to see the face of a male.

Is it possible for it to be residual data from a previously taken image?

Was this taken with a mobile phone camera?

I can't see the second ghost although there is a bit of discolouration there.
Yes it was a camera phone.

As stated, it was from a camera phone. There is no better version unfortunately.
I was just wondering whether people believe this is some kind of apparition or purly some sort of noise that looks like a face.

Trust me, there is no con here.

I am not a believer so i just think its a lucky formation of jpeg artifacts, i just wondered what others thought.

Ah -- Error in the phone, then. Look at the pictures before/after that one.

Your ghost just looks like a different pic of the same little girl somehow blended in.

I believe it's called matrixing, when the human eye makes shapes and colors into familiar objects (more commonly faces). If you look at the spackle or whatever it's called on your ceiling your eye will automatically find patterns that look like faces. That's probably what this is. And that is coming from someone that has been an amateur paranormal investigator for quite a few years now! :D

I think people see what they want to see. If this was an ultra high res photo I might think twice, but from a camera phone....anything could happen

There are several ghosts in this picture. Besides those mentioned above, there appears to be a girl's face between the legs of the second and third people from the left. And so forth.

I can think of three possible explanations:

1. The picture was taken through a window and the ghosts are reflections.

2. The picture was taken with a camera phone that really, really sucks.

3. The picture was taken in a room crowded with spirits.

Guess which one is the least likely.

I see a face between the legs. IMO it looks a lot like the face of the crying girl ( when she is not crying). I have an honest question. Why do all " ghost" photos have the worlds crappiest IQ? Just once I want to see a properly exposed photo of a ghost.
