All are beautiful captures Dennis! Plus a nice variety of shots. I like the Kestrel best in this series. Well done!

Hey Jim, yes, they were taken at Ridgefield. That's one place I can go and rarely be disappointed in the opportunities it offers for wildlife photography. The weather may not always cooperate but the wildlife is plentiful.

I appreciate your kind words!

While I'm a raptor fan, and I love your shots, the green in the ducks really stood out for me! Very well done.

Wonderful series Dennis.

Looks like the RTH struck a pose for you, and who doesn't like Kestrels :)

Thank you Roy! The Kestrel was surprisingly cooperative and let me get within about 25 feet. They usually fly if you just THINK about taking their picture! This bird has amazing colorings!

Attila, thanks much for your kind words and for taking the time to look! I'm glad you mentioned the ducks as I agree with you! The Teal is an especially colorful bird. The photos would have been improved with bluer skies but we take what we can get!

Thanks a bunch Joayne! The RTH was either too young to know any better or maybe just liked the color of my truck, but he let me drive to within 10 feet. I'm always happy to get a Kestrel shot when they're on a natural perch--which isn't very often it seems!
