They took signs down?

Yep, all those over the open tolling gates that and Blogo's name on them are coming or are down.

Well, Happy Anniversary Becky...guess it's a good thing that wife works from home and has no office to have flowers delivered to. LOL!

He's planning something I'm sure of it. Quick...get an inventory of all his gear and make sure there is nothing new!

A. You can have flowers delivered to your house you know.

B. All gear is co-ownership and equally shared as the other wants to use. Computers on the other hand...well we won't go there.

Report----Normal casual banter. POTN goes down causing global chaos and mad panic, POTN is restored to normal, all is right with world again.

Are you sure? I didn't see where Pete's question has been answered regarding a new earth.;)

I most never follow that advice, but should more often. ;)

I know.. It's such a pain in the a$$. Some photog needs to work with the designers and come up with photo friendly enclosures.

It's like I wrote in an article for our club: The welfare of the animals comes first in the design of a new enclosure, followed by the quality of the visitor's experience. Photographers are way down the list, if on it at all...

I do have to give the San Diego Zoo credit, though. Every new area that they've built in the last 15-20 years has been pretty easy to shoot in. They are getting away from the wire cages more and more. What few enclosures still have wire out of necessity (you don't want to put monkeys in an open enclosure...) have thin gauge wire that is close enough to the visitor that it allows the use of wide lens openings that will put the wire OOF.

Deb, I can't find the arctic butterfly we own. They've probably updated it and discontinued ours.

I have not been to a lot of large zoos, maybe 7 or 8 total. But I have always like the San Diego Zoo. I think it is also the only one I have been to multiple times.
