I brought a black widow home once. They are not common here so I was thrilled to find one in a nursery plant I had brought in from out of state. I put her in a cage and she birthed like 12 million babies the size of a period in the news paper.

Bet that was fun....did you name them all?

That is one of the phones I looked at online, the reviews make it sound ok. People say it looks kinda like a kiddie phone.

Eh, I don't think so. Its a bit heavier than the Chocolate though...you'd notice a difference.

I am guessing you guys don't use Hershey chocolate chips.

LOL, Zane I live in Hershey and we've never used Hershey chips. They don't melt right. Besides, almost all their stuff is gonna be made in Mexico soon.

I don't use anything Hershey :p Finding choc chips shouldn't b a problem though. It's the dough I need to know how to make ;-)a

I'm pm'ing you a recipe shortly...the trick is to EVER so slightly underbake them...so that they're still chewy.

G'MAE all, we've broken fevers!!!! Toddler still slept till 10am, and Blondie opted to stay home (she loves school, so that's a big thing for her), but we have PROGRESS. Hopefully another day of rest and they'll be well on the way to being mended. Thanks for the support guys....yesterday...well....I'd like to forget it happened. :(

I just threw up in my mouth a little. Really? So what comes of your city? Do they keep the whole tourist thing going and pretend it is made there or are they shutting down? Leyla goes up there a couple times a year for conferences.

That's funny. I did once bring home what I though was a hog nose snake. They are pretty benign. It was later pointed out to me that it was a cotton mouth which are no so benign. I had to let it go.

Snakes

*shudders*

I saw something on the side of the road this morning which looked like a snake altough it clearly was not. It made my skin crawl anyway.

I reload also. It can either save money or in my case it allows me to experiment with powder and projectile combinations to create a custom load much more accurate than anything out of a box. I can also meticulously weigh the powder load making very consistent and accurate ammunition. I can seat the projectile in a case custom fit to the chamber of a particular gun making it much more accurate. One more thing I do is go through a process that coats the projectile in molybdenum disulfide. This prevents friction in the barrel, and eliminates copper fouling in the bore, which detracts from accuracy. Can you tell I am all about accuracy?

So, tell me, how accurate can you be?

:lol:Awww hang in there Crissa. I wouldn't say you have to go to a breeder but there are a lot of cats put up for adoption that are on the wild side. It is some of the "rescue" groups that make people have thoughts like that. I hate it when they trap perfectly healthy strays then try to adopt them out as house cats. I understand yours, and the hoarder situation, may have been more of a real rescue. You are a smart person with common sense and some cat experience so you are in a different situation but I think of the poor kid or family suckered into taking wild strays and getting disappointed, convinced taking in rescues is bad, or turned off from pets all together.. It is kind of sad to me.
There is a lady around this area that will "rescue" urban strays and she solicits horse people and farm owners to take them as barn cats. I think it is a great idea but some are opposed because they can't stand the idea of an animal living outdoors in a natural environment.
My friend occasionally catches strays and has them "fixed" before releasing them again.
