Given a couple minutes, nothing stood a chance against this thing! I watched in amazement as the gun literally sprayed casings all over the ground. So many bullet casings .... It wasn't a German MG-42 by any chance? That gun could do up to 1800 rounds per minute. Permagrin wrote in post #7295682 my dad said it snowed on the coast yesterday. Gah. I'm so ready for spring. I'm tired of being cold. Tired of the grey or gray or grehhhy.... http://www.uclick.com/feature/09/02/10/nq090210.gif thomascanty wrote in post #7295722 I had a cat who was the sweetest, most gentle thing. When he was about 6 or 7 years old, one day he went psycho. I was afraid to get anywhere near him because he was hissing and growling, baring his teeth, back arched, etc. Eventually I trapped him and took him to the vet. They gave him a checkup and couldn't find anything wrong. And, it never happened again. He was 14 years old when he died. I have no idea what got into him that one day. I've been convinced for years that cats can see things humans can't, kinda like the Ghost Whisperer. Perhaps he saw an earth-bound spirit that hadn't crossed over yet... John

Permagrin High Priestess of all I survey 77,915 posts Likes: 21 Joined Aug 2006 Location: day dreamin' More info | I was reading a book that said that you should teach your dog to deal with small amounts of frustration so that they don't freak out when they get majorly frustrated. So I've been teaching Kona the "wait" and "okay" thing....where he sits and I hold something he wants. And he has to wait until I say okay before he takes it. Yesterday he was all energy...just shaking & lunging because he wanted whatever it was so badly. Today when we worked on it, as soon as I said "wait" he would look at me instead of the item and then as soon as I said "okay" he would gently take it. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS
