I haven't seen any picture for some time around here. So I'll bring an old shot (was taken in November) that I finally came around to sort/upload...

I've been convinced for years that cats can see things humans can't, kinda like the Ghost Whisperer. Perhaps he saw an earth-bound spirit that hadn't crossed over yet...

That's as good as any other explanation I could come up with.

But my oven doesn't go as high as 375

Fill the oven with molten lava. That should get it somewhere near 375C...

At least, I've got a set of cups at home. 'coz converting cups in grams ain't easy (different for each ingredient as density isn't the same for flour and sugar and ....) It's funny that in the States, recipes are given in volume as here we work with weight...

I was reading a book that said that you should teach your dog to deal with small amounts of frustration so that they don't freak out when they get majorly frustrated. So I've been teaching Kona the "wait" and "okay" thing....where he sits and I hold something he wants. And he has to wait until I say okay before he takes it. Yesterday he was all energy...just shaking & lunging because he wanted whatever it was so badly. Today when we worked on it, as soon as I said "wait" he would look at me instead of the item and then as soon as I said "okay" he would gently take it.

I wish he was this easy to train in the whole "no bite" thing.
Some things are just so smooth with him but not that.

That sounds like great progress Lisa. I remember leaving Jinx on a stay at a job site while I hauled materials to the back. I came out front a bit later and there were squirrels in the yard. She held her stay but it was some serious frustration going on. She was shaking she wanted to break so badly:lol:

On the biting, up the negative reenforcement. If you are doing the rolling thing and he does not stop, or if he actually tries to nip as you roll him, then it is just a game to him. Rock his world, like really, every time he bites, instantly, and it will all but stop in an evening. They all do it as babies but they need to really know it is the absolute worse thing in their life they could possibly ever think to do. Too much liability involved. If Jinx was ever defending us I could see her barking her fool head off but never biting.

Hi Kody that is neat. Is this something you signed up for or agreed with flicker? Did the site contact you or do they just troll fliker for images to grab?

Zane, I believe since it's on flickr that anyone can blog it as long as they are linking back to your site and to your photo. Even when I go to select an image to post on POTN it says that their legal requirements state you MUST hotlink back to the actual page the image is on. My guess is that fulfills any legality of posting someone elses photo.

I was not aware of them blogging my photos till a coworker told me. Then I found three of my photos. They never notified me. I think they just use the keyword Tacoma and pull shots they like.

I have to warn you though, these cookies end up being pretty flat. Not the puffy kind. And the flour thing is .... well, you just have to play with the flour until you get what you want. But, they are fav's of our family!

Really really out now!!!! sheesh!;):p

Yeah, moving over here, I've had to adapt to volumes and some crazy thing of converting all temps into °F...but at least i can work both ways. It just annoys my wife when I say "oh yeah, just use 400g of this or that"...
