It was the aliens that I had trouble with.

*looks suspiciously into just emptied cup of cocoa*

I knew I shouldn't have changed brands...

That'll teach ya. Went for a cheaper brand didn't you. Thought you'd save a bit, right? Started to think economically. Sure, fiscal responsibility in these tough times is to be lauded, but with Hot Chocolate? Hmm? Really? You think that you can save a couple of fivers a year on a cheaper and lower quality Hot Chocolate will make that much of a difference? You think there's some banker in Cleveland, Ohio thinking, "Golly, if only someone would get that cheaper stuff. Then we'd be OK for generations." Huh? Is that what you think? HUH?

IT WON'T, MR. PENNY PINCHER!!

Drive a car for another year before getting another. Or don't get so many unnecessary trinkets at the duty-free shop. But chimp on Hot Chocolate? FOR THE LOVE OF LITTLE MARSHMALLOWS! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!!

GO, GET THE GOOD STUFF! STOCK UP ON THAT HIGH QUALITY HOT CHOCOLATE! LIFE'S TOO SHORT FOR THAT CHEAP, LOW BROW, INSIGNIFICANT CHOCOLATE DUST!!

Of course, that's just my opinion.

ATTENTION EVERYONE! I MISS SPRING!! GAH!

I cannot even go and see my MIL in the desert. She's in San Jose because Dan's auntie is in hospital. (heart thing...hopefully surgery will take care of it. She's wonderful!)

Does this mean you won't be coming down here for a Joshua Tree trip? :(

If you want more Black Crowned Night Herons, just come down here. They're like flies at the Wild Animal Park and on the coast.

We got a spiffy new coffee machine in our department at work. It makes about a dozen different kinds of coffees, lattes, mochas, hot chocolates, etc. at the press of a button. Put your cup under the spigot, push the button next to what you want and in less than a minute it's ready. I wonder how much this thing cost... It even grinds the beans fresh for each cup!

Maybe the management sensed the unrest among the employee(s) and this is bribery. When Ryan was getting ready to lay off almost the entire hourly workforce in 1998, we started getting free fresh coffee, donuts and bagels in the mornings and pizza for lunch a couple times a week.

Other than my grandfather, who I was named after, every Lonnie I've personally known was female.

Heather works with one, but her's is spelled "Lani."

I think photographers like v-day because they get to do all that flower macroing the next day...

"thank you honey, these are BEAUTIFUL"

day after

*snap snap snap, adjust -lighting- snap snap snap -rearrange- snap snap snap*

(t-24 posts)

I very rarely buy Heather flowers 'cause the cats eat them...

Back in the day when I actually used an alarm, the radio station it was set to played Golden Earings Radar Love (external link). As the song picked up tempo, I was boogieing myself slowly to full consciousness. groovin' to the beat, and by the end of it I was completely awake.

Back, many years ago, I had a clock radio. One morning it work me up to the opening phrase of the Mama's and The Papa's song "Monday, Monday..." Of course, you know what day of the week it was...

I really liked it. I tried several textures and your ice ones give it a painting kind of feel. Anyway I messed with several of your ice textures and settled on this one. I thought you might want to know.

it's just not as safe for dogs (according to the books)

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #7319125 (external link)
I use a seat belt for him most of the time. It is a harness with a detachable loop that fastens to the seat belt. Along with safety, it also keep him for running around in the car.

It is safer, but the crate needs to be anchored to be effective. The seat belt we use is good too. Jasper is the first dog I have had that uses any of this safety stuff, that I have had.

When Buddy goes out of the house he always has a harness on. We'd rather have any pressure be on his chest than his neck. We bought a substantial climbing carabiner with a locking gate and use that to attach his harness to the seatbelt in the car.

Take a look at your import dialog in Lightroom. You may have it set to "Convert to Digital Negative and Import..."

It's true. I have the bitter aftertaste that can only be wiped clear by reverting back to brand loyalty...

Rabid chipmunks I can handle. (Or even a half crazed Mississippi squirrel ;) )

we shot it in a practical cave so lighting was horrid and almost all the shots were ultra high iso...the bride had bad skin (and the groom had terrible razor rash to remove too) and wanted the photos (all of them) corrected (I didn't charge enough for that kind of work) and there was no chemistry btw. the bride and groom. She looked at the camera...posed the whole time...it was like a surreal photo shoot.

Sounds like a blast.

And, thanks!

Oh, and don't forget the Mom with the Tourette's and the wild-eyed nephew that spent the wedding gnawing on the pew. Then there's the armed guard for the cake and the pack of rabid chipmunks that attacked the pianist. Then that redwood that fell into the church right on the Officiant so that the deaf Uncle HAD TO FINISH THE SERVICE! THEN THE ALIENS! THE ALIENS THAT CAME IN THEIR LITTLE SHIPS AND STOLE THE FLOWER GIRL AWAY FOR TESTING! AND TO TOP IT OFF, I RAN OUT OF MY MEDICATIONS!! REMEMBER THAT? HUH? REMEMBER?!!!

ROFLMAO!
