Well, there are two sides to the equation here. How do you know the problem is on the Toshiba side? 8)

Don't buy a Toshiba. every single Toshiba notebook I have encountered has had some problem or another. I'm not shopping for a laptop but we had our last toshiba last for 3 years and then got a virus, we wiped the hd and now our daughter has it with no issues. .. What program did you use to do the video? (I love that Minnie had the last word, lol) Believe it or not, I did that with Windows Movie Maker. Yeah... That little freebie that's part of XP. I'm guessing it's probably part of Vista, too. I'd have to dig out my laptop to verify that, though. I couldn't believe how easy it is to use, yet it's so versatile. It's still lacking in some areas though, so I'm looking around at other options. But, for now it'll do. I whipped that all up, pieced together from seven separate videos I shot with that little cheapie Flip thing I bought a few months ago, and it only took me a half hour to edit it all. That included the time it took to learn how to use the software... cfpackerfan wrote in post #7205875 In Yahoo, if you accidentally use forum smilies (which I do) and type in : shock : it gives you a confused face, and says 'hock' . It's become a new way of saying ![]() Ah... I geddit. I never woulda known if I didn't ask. I'm logged into Yahoo all the time, but I don't use their software to do it... So, I jumped on a bargain from woot.com last week for a hi-def Polaroid camcorder that has image stabilization that should do much better for me. It's out for delivery on a FedEx truck as I type. Funny thing is... The Polaroid, with two 8Gb SDHC cards that I ordered separately, cost me less than that little Flip toy-like thing. ![]() Ah... I geddit. I never woulda known if I didn't ask. I'm logged into Yahoo all the time, but I don't use their software to do it... Ah, Windows Movie maker is what I use to edit my little Olympus clips that I've been posting on YouTube. It's a great little program. (And yes, it's on Vista too) Cat -the femine feline with the namby arms. Loquacious, but not to a fault.
