I'm STOKED! I picked up a constant on light (TD5, that I've been wanting) off of fleabay. (it was a floor model from a camera store) complete with soft box/stand & lights!! It will nicely compliment my flash setup and I'm going to sell my elinchroms after all. WOO HOO!!

Someday I'll buy another one when I find a good deal but for now, I'm just happy to have finally acquired one.

YAY!

Ok, idk what you said, but that was impressive. LOL.

Took the macro outside this afternoon once it stopped raining...hopefully got some good shots, only about 30% done importing them.

fine..pfft.

I have a few flashes for off camera lighting. I can trigger them from my camera for the most part. However I was debating in my mind, for the times when I need more light...what should I do in the lighting department.

a: keep my elinchroms (wireless lighting triggers) and buy alienbees or the like.
(positivies...I already had the elinchroms...negatives, I didn't have the lighting & it would be another step to use the elinchroms when I don't need to)

b: sell the elinchroms and pick up a westcott TD5 to compliment my current system, eventually hoping to get another in the future.
(positives...I WANT constant on lighting to go with my setup....negatives, constant on isn't strong {however that is combatted with the fact that I have 3 flashes to work with it so it's not really a negative now} and the TD5 kit is almost $700 ea)

BUT!! I found one on ebay (a floor model from a camera shop...the soft box hasn't been displayed and neither has the bracket etc) for half that price. So I bought it.

better? :lol::lol:

as it is, I can set up my current flashes directly from my camera to output any level from +3 to -3 exposure comp (and I have stand/umbrellas etc already for them). And they are TTL. So with constant on lighting where I want it...and some TTL magic...I should have a nice setup. Ideally :)

Do your dogs have to touch you when they are with you? Like when Kona is laying at my feet, he has to put some part of his body on me. If he's 3ft away and laying down, it's no problem...so it's not like he has to touch me all the time. But if I'm sitting on the floor, he comes over and sits on part of me and then chews on whatever he's gnawing on. When I'm walking, he'll walk behind me and bump me (like he's herding me...it's weird...he's not a herder) and if I'm laying down on the floor with my head up he sits next to me but touching but if I put my head down on the floor he dives under my head and digs and bites at me until I get my head up.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The one piece of furniture the dog is allowed on is the couch. Sometimes he has to get right next to me and press real hard, but at other times when I sit down he'll get up and move to the complete other end of the couch.
