as I have said before DON'T STOP SHOOTING. Creating interesting images after dark is so easy since your really in a studio setting and in control of all light in the image. I mean this is not an award winning image, but it made the client VERY happy and well that is the key and our goal to our (TriCoast) business.

Single wireless flash with Radio Popper Set up. Jordan is in the shadows shooting, the seniors boyfriend is holding the very cold light stick with a 580ex mounted on top with a battery pack attached.

I took the shot with a 70-200 of the pullback with another radio popper PX unit on my flash (why you see the flash went in this image)

Just wanted to show how easy getting images are with one light in any location and anytime of the day or night. As you can see by the pullback it was an old building with trash thrown everywhere. Needless to say the senior LOVED this location.

A few more from the session all again with direct wireless flash on a lightstick or through Denny's new foldable flash softbox.

Pullback Shot with Jordan shooting our senior in an ally way.

Same lighting set up just move our senior down the wall a little bit

Final Shots with this set up

Pullback Shot - In this one we have two lights - the main shooting through the softbox from Denny's which gives a nice softer light - spreads out more, then a HARSH rim light by design coming from the directly flash on the light stick. Mixing and matching you get endless results

As always Mike great shots and thanks for sharing and showing the pull back shots. Now is this Dennys softbox a brand? Never seen that one before.

Edit found them, Google is your friend, even has a nice Tri Coast name attached to it.

I very much appreciate the behind the scenes images ... very helpful to see just what the setup looks like. I take it that you like the Radio Poppers ... with an ST-E2?

This set is wonderfully great. Gives an old nostalgic feeling.

care to share the processing effects?

and what's a pullback? I take it it's the setup shots?

I really enjoyed these...you have talent. I can't say I like all the blurring, but it's just my tastes.
