Visited a Sanctuary a few weeks ago, and found these two unique looking guys. The first is a snow tiger. The second is a white tiger who is doing something called flaming, it supposedly helps them identify a smell. Comments and suggestions always welcomed and appreciated. These were both shot through chain link fences.

Nice shots, shame about the backgrounds though.

The first one looks like a lion to me, rather than a tiger.

Don't know if you think it is any better with a blurred background, I know I got his ear a bit but it was a quick job. I really like the second one I have spent ages trying to get a similar picture with no joy.

With adrian's edit, it's a cracking image-well done.

Nice work Mom! I love the second shot, and the first makes me wonder if that could be the fabled "liger"...
I love the images you capture - keep it up please!

Beautiful images of some beautiful beasts!

- I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.

Thank you for your kind comments. The first one may be a famed "liger" the guide called it a rare snow tiger--all white--no stripes, but the two dark spots above his eyes, but it certainly has the look of a liger. It had been retired from one of the magic shows in Las Vegas.
