To add to the 70+ thousand job cuts just today in the US, POTN is going to have reduce its membership too... Even though it is free. Pekka, Jake, Tom (especially) oh and Jon too - Suzie, Maureen, Skip and all the other mods, I love you - don't let me go :)

Be afraid.... Be very afraid!

Okay, I apologize if I have offended anyone with this post. Granted, this is a very serious situation and I am sure several people here are experiencing tough times, and possibly job losses as I am writing this.

But what if this begins to affect everything - and I mean, EVERYTHING... think about it... We are in trouble.

Yeah. It seems all I have right now is time. Hours and hours of free time. and a television set. I have become obsessed with CNN and Larry King. Can't help it. The good news is that hopefully, and not immediately and probably not without a few bumps in the road. things will improve. The only advice I go to is what my grandfather told me he experienced during the depression. He said that the ones that got out of it okay were the ones that stayed still and steady. No sudden movements, no crazy decisions to somehow get your own foot hold above everyone around you. Just ride it out. in other news my employment is based on peoples extravagances. talk about nervous... Knew I should have been a dental hygenists.... oh wait, except. I didn't want to. and i'm part of that generation thats pretty much about making yourself happy.... damn!

You should see how the ducks are taking your news about the cuts...very hard for them to hear. They've gotten a bit big headed about all this POTN spotlight. Hard times can hit even them.
