Our next to last day of Fly South with the Birds (external link). We tried calling in birds at a few locations, songbirds and barred owls, but nobody cooperated. So we ended up at an eagle nest and got one flyby with decent light. Tomorrow morning we are going to Viera Wetlands, but I think in the afternoon I will go back on my own to the eagle nest because it's such a good spot and I want some more eagle shots!

Adorable little eaglet flapping its wings:

This eagle is bringing a fish back to the nest. The chicks already had some of it and the eagle took off with it to have some, and now is bringing it back.

Wish I hadn't clipped the wing here!

After we lost the nice light, took a look back at the sunset on the other side of the road:

I'm sure you are having fun, Liz. The excitement comes through your posts loud and clear. More importantly, you are getting some good shots and experience.
