This is what I shoot in no particular order:
-Landscapes, aviation, surfing, birds, models&people, wildlife, and motorsports.
I would like to steer away from having 2 bodies, so the question is, should i go full frame or go with a crop

any advice would be appreciated

I own a 5D Mark II but I mostly shoot landscape and portrait, very little birding or motorsports. IMHO the Mark III is what you need.

+1 Love mine! Can do all on your list where as the 5D might come up a little short on the action..

Landscapes : 5DMKII
Aviation: 1DMKIII
Surfing: 1DMKIII
Birds: 1DMKIII
Models & People: 5DMKII
Wildlife: 1DMKIII
Motosports: 1DMKIII

You can shoot those things with either camera, however it just looks to me that the 1DMKIII is the better tool for the job.

That said, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from shooting Aviation, Surfing, Birds, Wildlife, and Motorsports with a 5DMKII.

In fact, whatever camera you have at that moment, is the best tool for the job!

Landscapes : 5DMKII (But MKIII gives him weather sealing with both zooms)
Aviation: 1DMKIII
Surfing: 1DMKIII
Birds: 1DMKIII
Models & People: 5DMKII (MKIII AF lets you place the right AF point over the eyes though, and they're all cross type)
Wildlife: 1DMKIII
Motosports: 1DMKIII

While both are fine cameras, the 1DIII is the clear, clear winner here IMO.

you dont really shoot landscapes when its raining....... and if it is you just stick a plastic bag over it easy! I still think 5d mkII is way better for Landscape/Portraits.

I shoot quite a similar range of objects such as your self. The 1DIII wins hands down, simply for it's durability, weather sealing, more AF points, and extra reach with 1.3x crop.

FWIW, either camera would be fine for Aviation.

In fact, with sufficient glass length (eg the 100-400) the cropability of the 5DMkII would be superior IMO...

In fact, you'd probably waste a lot less electrons at 3.9fps than you would just blazing away machine gun style at 10fps.
