Hi ya BKG,
If the camera triggers on motion it must have been entering the area from the left of camera which prolly means it's the front of the animal we're looking at, eh ??!! I've had a quick crack at editing it but can't get anything clearer than what perryge came up with.
Bloody hell this is exciting !!....
I remember a few years ago when they thought they had a motion camera shot of a moose in Fiordland, here in N.Z. Moose were certainly introduced here but never flourished. On the contrary, they (supposedly) died out within a a few decades. The last one was shot in 1953 by Percy Lyes who also obtained the last photo taken of a live animal. Since 1953 there has been unverified reported sightings and even droppings, hair and massive browse line heights but nothing ever definitive. A few years ago a few avid "believers" gained some funding and set up a series of motion cameras. Over a period of some months many many photos were taken but only one could pssibly have been a moose. A bit like your pic, it was on the edge of the frame, a rooten exposure due to the miserable day and also blurred. They dissected it over and over and had truckloads of experts look at the photo but no one could say with certainty that it was indeed a moose.
Sorry, off on a bit of a tangent there.
I'm dying to know what this thing is !!!!!
Matt.
