This may be old news. Canon released new RAW codec and ZoomBrowser.
As noted at TDP:ust Released: Canon RAW Codec 1.4.1 and ZoomBrowser EX 6.2.1c

Just posted a question about this prior to doing a search. Is this codec a recommended download for everyone or ?

Seems to only address 5D MarkII issues:

Changes of ZoomBrowser EX 6.2.1c:
1. This updater supports the EOS 5D Mark II firmware v1.0.7. (This updater corrects a phenomenon where dark, low-contrast areas in sRAW1 and sRAW2 images that were captured by a camera equipped with firmware v1.0.6 or earlier may appear magenta.)
