Couple of snow sculptures

These were up at the new Olympic Park in Whistler BC. We just got finished with 3 weeks of world cup events to test out the new facilities for next years Olympics.

These were a little difficult to shoot with the glare from the sun and the whiteness of the snow. Used the shadow highlight tool but that created some halos that I am not too happy about. Hopefully I can get better shots next time.

Yeah the halos on the first shot are very noticeable but great shots! do you have an original of the first one?

I've only been shooting for a short while now. So far I have found it difficult to shoot snow scenes. I think your shots turned out very good. I really like photo # 2. Good work!

How incredibly cool are those sculptures!!!!!

They are so good. Making me jealous lol... I could go see these myself... be a bit of a drive though.

It takes a bit of staring at the first pic to see what it is, but I think it's great!!!
