I'm considering this lens too; could you please post some samples when you get the lens?

I am at work so I can't post any pictures, but it is as sharp as the samples show elsewhere. My only complaint is that if you're pointing it right at the sun there is a bit of flare. Not ridiculous, but it's there. Overall though, it's a great lens.

Me too. I also don't mind the "noise" when I'm shooting indoors at ISO 3200. Too much Tri-X pushed to 1600 or higher when I was a child I guess.

I hope you get yours right away. Mine took over 2 months to arrive since they are in such high demand (relative to production).

Although I didn't find enough use for mine to justify keeping it, the two things I really enjoyed it for (on the 3 or 4 outings I had) were sunsets, and just indoor room shots.
