Random Duck Shot w/new 5DMKII

I received my 5D MKII about 3 weeks ago and practice with it at least 1 to 2 times a week.
I use AV mode mostly. I`m learning as I go by baby steps, but sometimes I get a few good pics and have no clue. It`s lucky shots at this stage in the game, but I`m determined to become a photography buff..:)

nice image....2 points imho
#1 - you cut off his tail feathers...now if we all did that we would never of had the 50's hairstyle of the "ducktail", would we LOL
#2 - a little more space is needed in front of the duck...kinda to show him swimming somewhere.

The colors are awesome and it is a nice capture tho


It's nice to know that my ineptitude in the darkroom transfers over to the digital world...
