You got it, Gary. :)

We'll make G2 jealous that he didn't make it, and bring that new sniper lens he's looking at buying.

I've seen a few photos from this angle but I don't know how to get up there...

Maybe I'll try again this weekend... I feel like getting lost a bit.

I'd be happy to show you, but my wife and I have a pretty full weekend.
Saturday we're running around exchanging a dining room set we bought, then going cherry picking in Brentwood (hmm, photo op for Nifty?).
Sunday we are headed to Napa Valley with some friends to go wine tasting, dining, and none of them know it yet, but they are all going to be guinea pigs for portrait shots.

Then if I haven't had too much wine, shooting the eclipse.

Lol sounds like a really fun day hah.

What lens & filters are you planning on using to shoot the eclipse?

I see everyone's above the Bay Bridge shots, and raise you all an under the Bay Bridge shot. :p
Now this shot is REALLY tricky to get to, especially since it's technically "off limits" due to it being owned by the USCG. It's also a pretty steep hike down to this area of Yerba Buena island.

I would meet up there with you guys.

I have lived here since 97 and keep saying I would go there some day when I am not busy with work.

If I pre plan it, I can make it.

He picked it up today - said it is like he pulled it out of the factory fresh. I'm jealous. By the way, he says the guy has a heck of a deal on a 400 also. Wish I had something big to sell. ;)

How about spending the night so we can get some hotel tax revenue in addition to the tasting and dinner?

Sorry Tom. Between the ten of us coming up there, we will be dropping plenty of cash.
Not going to spend the night too. ;)

Nice. Glad it worked out or him.

I just sold a dining room table and chairs, but still not enough to cover that baby.
