One of my favourite lenses to carry around! Not perfect, but for the price it's great!

Good review.

For the weight, size and cost it's a lens that every Canon SLR owner should have in their bag.

(Unless they have a f/1.4 :p)

For the money, the lens is definitely a "no brainer."

The optics might be wrapped in sh!t, but that's not what counts anyway. :D

Great review. I love mine, but the build does make me a bit more cautious with it. :(

A good value. Good price point. I bet canon sells a ton of these.

The Nifty reminds me of the E Series lenses Nikon released in the early 80s.. Inexpensive, small, light, wrapped in plastic but optically superb..

It a good review when they recommend a Canon lens. It's a bad review and they are just Nikon lovers when they put down a Canon lens. Do I see a trend here?

Wow this lens really really shines on the 5d!

It's making me want a 5d now...
