iss and shuttle (17,500mph/207miles high)

i have missed this years pass of the iss. so ill have to try next time round,

but these where from last year.

I have been trying for 3 nights and with such clear sky's I dont think I've had such good views.
so I put the 40d and ed 80 scope on the tripod 600mm 2xtc 1/500 iso1600

manual focusing and following trying to get a sharp shot.

It wasnt untill I zoomed in on the play back that I cant say what came out of my mouth (lts just say it started with f.

Nice job. Does it really only pass over the UK once a year? Did you check heavens-above.com for the passes?

Has anyone seen today's Astronomy Picture of the Day? Its the ISS passing in front of the moon. The transit time was 0.49 seconds.
