Time crunch (need Help)

Hi, I need to get this to the printer today. The black background needs some fixing. I see crinkles and a camera leg in the left side of pic. Could someone explain to me how to fix it. I have photoshop CS3

This is just some very basic tweaks in Lightroom

1. Adjusted exposure
2. Raised the black point
3. Tweaked contrast
4. Added a vignette seems to get rid of most of the background
