Those of you who shoot with your left eye in the viewfinder: do you find that your face gets in the way of your thumb changing options on the back of your camera while you're looking through?

Thats when I started keeping both eyes open and alternate eyes from time to time... 40D, davidalbertsonphotography.com

I have to push my face out of the way to press it, but I don't find it to be annoying. | Rebel XSi | EF-s 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS | EF 50 f/1.4 | EF 70-200 f/4L | Speedlight 199A |

Most changes I would make while looking through viewfinder I can do, though I little awkward at times. Gear https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=635450

The screen gets smudged, the buttons sometimes get in the way. I even thought about buying an eyecup extension. Then i just realised that if i tilt my head down a little bit, i dont have to worry. Nope. And my nose tends to place itself between the multicontroller and the wheel, rather than the lcd. I put on a cheap screen protector anyway, just so I wouldn't be constantly cleaning the lcd from smudges and fingerprints.

PerryGe Batteries? We don't need no... . . . or cards. More info | Jan 29, 2009 02:12 | #15 No. If it's a problem, just turn your head a little :lol. I am 100% left eyed and I almost never shoot with the camera pointing straight forward from my body, I am almost always standing sideways on, shooting over my left shoulder rather than straight forward on.
