The thing is i'm not joking, I live in the second most prominent aurora weather area in the world next to finland

Locally I do formal protraits with people posing with the aurora in the background, with families and recently we intend to do a wedding portrait with the aurora.

Despite seeing them every night, they're always amazing and dazzling

The amazing Aurora Borealis is one of the very few things I miss about living in Fort McMurray, AB. (that and the ridiculously long summer daylight hours).

I was going to ask you if you ever get a bit blasé about seeing them, as it's such a regular occurence. But then I thought, "Well, no, every time I go out at night and it's clear and I gaze upwards, I could never tire of looking at the stars." Guess it's kind of the same for you, only a bit more special, as you're seeing things that very few other people ever get to see.

There's not much in this world that makes me want to leave England, except the odd Solar Eclipse and the Northern Lights. One day I'll see them both, but in the mean time I'll just keep admiring your images. (Don't suppose you could take a video of them for me could you! )

I have never seen these in person, so I can never imagine what it must be like in person, but that is a great picture.
