Here are some results from the using the 5DII this past weekend. These are processed incl. some levels adjustments, so they aren't meant for extreme scrutiny or anything. I don't do much NR to my shots other than a little chroma NR in LR2.

The first set of shots was ISO 1600 with flash. The 5DII can't really focus in this environment without an AF assist beam. I have a sort of odd method of using the flash on an off camera shoe cord and attempting to aim the assist beam at the subject. I really need to invest in an ST-E2.

1. Longsleeves and Ben Laatsch - ISO1600 w/ flash

2. Andrea of Lee Miles & the Illegitimate Sons - ISO1600 w/ flash

The second set of shots is from a moderately lit old church building. The light was fading as the sun went down and the windows became less and less of a light source. I went up to ISO6400 to improve my shutter speeds, and I was able to shoot everything with the 24-70L and 135L. Without ISO6400 in this situation, I probably would have switched to the 35L for a wider aperture. There is certainly some visible noise in the ISO6400 shots, but the amount of detail retained is impressive.

4. Bellweather - Ambient 1/100 f/2.8 ISO1600

6. Longsleeves - Ambient 1/200 f/2 ISO6400

As a side note, I also shot some video at this show. I stuck the 5DII + 135L on a tripod for a couple of songs. An example is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3gC1FmF8wM (external link)
Click "Watch in HD" for best results. This video isn't particularly amazing, but video is certainly something that I'll try to experiment with more in the future.

I think I saw some of the first before?
In that case, I think I said "Nice use of bounced flash" last time. Otherwise, I've said it now ;)

No these are new, but I do shoot the same venue, same style, same performers (2 and 3 esp) fairly often...so I'm sure you've seen something very similar before. Anyway, thank you for the comment. ;)
