Here they are. The labrador is nearly 12, and the golden retriever has just turned 2 years old. Winter is getting harder for the old lady, but she still enjoys the snow. As for the golden retriever, she just enjoys life in general!

I found her in a shelter 11 years ago and she's been my constant companion ever since. I hate it that she's getting old. Whoever it was who said "A dog's life is very short - it's their only fault, really" hit the nail on the head. Gear: Canon R10, Canon RFS 18-150, Canon RF 100-400

And it's still a mystery to me why somebody would have sent such an awesome animal to a shelter. Humans can be so weird sometimes. my dog Lucy will be 12 this december. she was dumped at the pound with five puppies. she was afraid of the world and was marked as a fear biter, which is an instant death sentence in the pound. ed rader http://instagram.com/edraderphotography/

There's something majestic about old dogs, but it's hard to capture in a photo. You've managed it, though! Gear: Canon R10, Canon RFS 18-150, Canon RF 100-400
