Just saw this over at Steves Digicams:

http://www.intemos.com/USA/dslrclean2.asp (external link)

Cost only about $3/cleaning, or about 1/2 cost of normal cleaning solutions.

I couldn't have said it any better.

What did you intend to say?

quote

1. Set your digital camera to sensor clean mode (enabling access to the sensor chamber).
2. Insert the DSLRClean™ stick so that the tip touches the sensor surface.
3. Apply pressure to the stick until the tip bends to a right-angle and forms a shoe on the
sensor. Figure 1
4. Move the DSLRClean™ stick around the sensor as shown in Figure 2.
5. Follow the sequence from 1 to 4 so that the DSLRClean™ stick returns to the starting
position.
6. Remove the DSLRClean™ stick from the chamber.
7. Reset the camera to normal operating mode.
For very dirty sensors, you may need two attempts to clean the sensor.
When you move the DSLRClean™ across the sensor, it will feel a little ‘sticky’. This is
intentional; the DSLRClean™ sticks are not sticky and contain no cleaning agents. This is the
result of the slight vacuum that is created by the DSLRClean™ stick.

Maybe we should wish for drive thru camera cleaning franchises in the metro areas... or some help; golfers have caddys, what do photographers have?

Oh nothing...I just bumped this up, because it fell off the front page in an hour or so that day it was posted. I am thinking of getting this product and trying it and was wondering if someone else had tried it already. Seems easier to use than a PEC pad with liquid cleaner.
