Had some sun this last time out-- It's so rare around here in the winter! Hope you like this small collection of birds. C&C is welcome and I appreciate you taking a look.

Wow Dennis, excellent variety. Cute little bushtit, which I have never seen, and lucky you to have red wings this time of year.

Thanks Mitch, Gary, and Alex for looking and commenting. Got these at the refuge and I believe it's my first shot of the bushtit there. The RWBB's did seem to have shown up early this year, and they are all over the place.

Beautiful series.. I especially like the reflection of the GBH in morning light. The Bushtit is very striking, love the behavior in the wing movement. All beautiful exposure and lovely light!

Thank you Joayne! Your comments are both helpful to me and kind. I'm very intrigued by the bushtit, especially the female and her unique eyes, compared to the male.

Phil, thanks a lot! The fluffed up RTH came flying into the woods as I was shooting the bushtit and landed in relatively good view. So both those birds were taken from the exact same spot. Kind of a two-for-one deal.
